This weekend is the last chance to buy the Aspen Snowmass Classic Pass in the Roaring Fork Valley and the Annual Four Mountain Sports/D&E Blowout Sale takes place at the same time. Both sales have been moved to Snowmass due to the construction and improvements at Buttermilk.
The Classic Pass sale is this weekend at the Snowmass Ticket Pavilion located at the end of the Snowmass Village Mall, Friday – Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. A 4-day Classic Pass is just $239 and 7-day is $374.
The annual Four Mountain Sports/D&E Blowout Sale is also this weekend at Snowmass in the Westin Conference Center, Friday, November 7 from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday, November 8-9 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The sale offers 40 to 70 percent off of everything. Sale items include skis, snowboards, boots, bindings, ski and snowboard pants and jackets, helmets and goggles, street wear and footwear, kid’s seasonal loaner equipment, demo/used skis and snowboards and more.
“This is a big weekend in Snowmass,” said Derek Johnson, Managing Director of Rental and Retail. “You can get everything you need for the season ahead. Just stop by the ticket pavilion for your Classic Pass, then head just up the hill for the best deals of the year on skis, snowboards, boots, helmets, clothing and accessories.”
Both events have typically been held at Buttermilk but have been moved to Snowmass this year to make way for construction of The Hideout, a 7,500-square-foot, $5 million children’s facility due to open in December. The facility will serve all children at Buttermilk from ages 2-12 and will improve the overall children’s ski school process for families. In addition, Buttermilk’s arrival plaza and parking lots will also see major improvements.
“We are excited to be opening this innovative new facility for our guests,” said Susan Cross, Buttermilk Mountain Manager. “The Hideout will foster the imagination of every child who visits, and seamlessly blend Buttermilk’s kid-friendly terrain with a variety of fun, indoor facilities centered on mountain adventure.”
