Mixing indie, electronic and rock sounds, Aspen/Snowmass is pleased to announce Awolnation as the next performer in the free Bud Light Hi-Fi Concert Series, playing at the base of Aspen Mountain over ESPN Winter X Games on Saturday, January 28 at 5:30 p.m.

“We are fired up to welcome Awolnation to the base of Aspen Mountain and further showcase the Aspen/Snowmass experience to our guests,” says John Rigney, Vice President of Sales & Events, Aspen Skiing Company. “The lights shine brightly on Aspen in January, and we expect our ESPN Winter X Games guests will have a great time.”

Awolnation

Awolnation is the product of lead-singer Aaron Bruno and Red Bull Records. Their biggest single “Sail,” has taken the ski industry by storm as it was featured this season in Matchstick Productions’ “Attack of La Nina,” and Teton Gravity Research’s “One for the Road.”

This is the second concert in a series of five free Bud Light Hi-Fi Concert Series that will take place during key weekends throughout the season. Past Hi-Fi performers include Big Boi, Ghostland Observatory, Donovan Frankenreiter, Karl Denson's Tiny Universe and many more. Additional acts will be announced throughout the season and are booked in partnership with Belly Up Aspen. Additional Bud Light Hi-Fi dates for the season are as follows: February 19, March 18 and March 23.

There will be a Bud Light Beer Garden with a $3 beer special at the base of Aspen Mountain for Awolnation. Ajax Tavern will also have a $3 draft special and $15 burger and beer happy hour special throughout the night.
